ITNL’s Parivartan Programme is designed to create a direct positive impact on the lives of rural communities in the catchment areas of its road projects. In 2011, we launched the Digital Duniya project under this programme, to bridge the digital divide between rural and urban students.
A bus equipped with computers as well as the innovative K-Yan technology travelled to remote villages and government schools that lack access to computer technology. Students in these areas got the opportunity to learn basic computer operations and programs hands-on. Following the success of this pilot project, we have launched four more buses to bring digital learning to several villages along ITNL’s other highways.
